Flocculant is vital component for sugarcane processing. It helps separate light and heavy impurities from juice, which in turn affect the processes after it. Our flocculant line is applicable for sugarmills and sugar refineries. With a wide range of polymer molecular weight and ionic charges, we can optimize its application and provide a lower cost and higher sugar quality.
Microorganisms is present in almost every biomass, including sugarcane. However, its presence can cause a decline in sugar content, foul scent, and even operational problem. To solve this problem, we provide both oxidizing (chlorine) and non-oxidizing biocides to eliminate microorganisms and maintain a smooth operation.
Cane with high starch content and highly viscous massecuite can cause foaming issues and unwanted spillage. Starch and dextran can be present in sugarcane, which are caused by milling immature cane and bacterial contamination. Unfortunately, their presence can also cause problems in purification process. A highly viscous massecuite in the crystallization station can cause uneven heating, which will result in sugar burning and poor crystal form. When this become a problem, our viscosity modifier chemical can be applied to reduce the viscosity if the massecuite, making it more mobile, preventing sugar burns, and improve crystallization.
Sugar decolorization using ion exchange resin has been a vital part in providing white, high quality sugar. Therefore resin selection is a very important matter. We provide ion exchange resin for application in sugar decolorization process. Our acrylic and styrenic resin are available to ensure long resin life with very low ICUMSA color.
White sugar is desirable both for consumers and industries. However color separation may not be an easy task.
